Mind Benders (GK Quiz) was held on 18.7.18 (Wednesday). Students participated
actively. They answered enthusiastically. There were five teams namely Young
Minds, Quiz Buckers. Thirst Optimists, Mind Martians and Fact Hunters. Quiz
Buckers were the winners
Fairy world came alive in Mother Divine Public
school (Nursery Wing) on 18th July 2018
when students put the stage on fire with their
vivacious and vibrant performances. The students chose their favorite
characters from different fairy tales to enact. The creativity, dialogue
delivery and costumes well portrayed the laborious efforts of the parents.
Although all the participants were winners as they won everyone's admiration
but a few excelled their fellow participants and grabbed the merit
certificates. The whole school echoed with giggles & laughter as students
really enjoyed a lot.
An interactive power point
presentation was given to fourth graders as part of a cultural exploration
program. The main topic of the presentation was about the similarities between
Hindi and Arabic language. The presentation started by an introduction to the
idea of 'Languages' and 'Accents'. This was mainly to give students a
background to the topic before introducing them to the similarities. Students
got very excited when they found out that the word 'Akhbar' exists in both
By the end of the presentation, students were given
a time for questions and answers to make sure that they digested the
Commerce Department of school organized a 'Role Play Competition' for the
students of class XII (Commerce). The topic was - 'Consumer Rights and Responsibilities'.
Students participated with great enthusiasm. They created awareness about
significance of taking bill/cash memo and reading labels carefully while
purchasing products or availing services.
also conveyed a message to be a part of consumer forums and exercise their rights
by filing complaints against traders involved in unfair trade practices. This serious
issue was presented in a hilarious way which captivated the audience. Mrs.
Nutan Gupta, the incharge of Senior Wing also presented her views on the
importance of bills & cash memo for being safe as a consumer, which will ultimately
lead to development of a nation.
The day began with enthusiasm when little
students of Mother Divine Public School, Nursery Wing came beautifully dressed
up as different characters of the stories. They dramatized the stories titled "The Thirsty Crow" & "Monkey and the cap seller" so
eloquently that everyone present over there was spellbound.
To endorse green
surroundings and to spread awareness how planting saplings will bring fresh
air, carry away pollution, provide disease free and peaceful environment the
school organized an activity Van Mahotsav for grades IX and X on
13.7.2018. The students planted saplings in the school campus under the
guidance of the teacher and also displayed posters on the theme Clean and Green is our perfect Dream.
The event was a great success.
प्रथम और द्वितीय कक्षा के छात्रों ने एक हिंदी कहानी नाटकीय रूपांतर दिनांक 13.07.2018 को प्रस्तुत किया जिसका शीर्षक था 'जैसी करनी वैसी भरनी'| इस कहानी को छात्रों ने बहुत अच्छे ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया| सभी छात्रों का अभिनय सराहनीय था|
Green is intrinsic to flourish, to
nourish and to Cherish
Van Mahotsav was
celebrated by the students of grade VI to VIII in which they brought sapling,
posters and other material in which they promoted tree planation to save their environment.
Enthusiasm of the students was praise worthy. A special assembly was also
conducted to promote Van Mahotsav. Two interns came from Egypt Caren Mohamed
Elsayed Khafagy and Hager Khaled Regaat Zalata also attented the plantation
drive. The students of grade VII showed a skit based on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
and the students of grade VIII inacted a poem in which they performed as
various elements of nature and guided the audience to make environment cleaner,
greener and safer.
