Light can devour the darkness but darkness cannot consume the light.
The principles Gandhiji stood for , are still invoked across India and the world. His legacy continues to inspire all of us. So to pay a rich tribute to the great iconic leader on his 153rd birth anniversary , the students of Primary Wing of Mother Divine Public School conducted a special program to commemorate the national festival of Gandhi Jayanti. The program commenced with an informative talk about the life and sacrifices he has made for the freedom of our country. An inspirational video enlightened the students about the life and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi and urged them to imbibe good values in life. It was a spiritual journey well appreciated by one and all. Teachers urged the students to learn the values and principles, which Gandhiji held dear in his life like truth, non-violence, respect for all beings, self-discipline, unity, harmony, sharing and caring. In addition, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was materialized through some recreational activities and a pledge to keep the environment and surroundings clean. Various activities like poem recitation, slogan writing and poster designing were conducted on the theme Swachh Bharat to spread awareness about clean India mission and to sensitize the students about the need of protecting mother Earth. In the end, tribute was paid to him by a soulful bhajan rendition of 'Raghupati Raghav Rajaram' which was a part of cultural program.
