'If you are fantastic, do something drastic ; to cut the plastic , use paper bags '
Paper Bag Day is observed every year on July 12. It is a day to spread awareness about using paper bags instead of plastics. The adverse impacts of plastic bags on the environment have led to the use of paper bags. They are environmental friendly and help reduce plastic that takes a thousand years to decompose. By incorporating the habit of using paper bags our children will follow eco-friendly habits for life. Keeping this thought in mind , Mother Divine Public School initiated a 'Paper Bag Making Activity' on 12th July , 2022 for the students of Grades III - V where our learners made paper bags by reusing old newspapers. Students showcased their creativity and artistic skills by making attractive paper bags and decorating them vibrantly. The craft activity was not only fun and engaging for the learners but they were also excited to take their bags back home and use it in their day to day activities. This fun filled activity inspired our young Divians to contribute to the Mother Nature by using paper bags and 'saying no to plastic bags'.
