"Take a pledge and do your bit for our environment. Avoid plastics and adopt cloth or paper bags."
MDPS encourages its learners to be the guardians of the environment. Adhering to 'One Earth, One Life', we all must make efforts to conserve resources and keep the planet green and clean. In the wake of 'ban on single use plastic', the students embarked on a mission to create cloth bags out of old used clothes.
To boost creative and inventive skills, a 'Cloth Bag Making Activity' was conducted by the Eco Club for the students of Grades VI to VIII on Thursday 20 April, 2023. The objective of conducting this activity was to ignite the need to adopt paper or cloth bags instead of plastic ones. Quite enthusiastic about this activity, every learner created beautiful paper/cloth bags by using waste material and decorating them vibrantly. The fun-filled activity inspired young Divinians to give a reason of content to the Mother Nature by using paper or cloth bags and saying no to plastic bags.
