The festival of Basant Panchami marks the end of winter and the onset of spring is celebrated on the fifth day (Panchami) of the Hindu month of Magha. This day is considered to be the birthday of Goddess Saraswati, as she is said to have appeared on earth to eradicate the sadness of all living beings, through the gift of speech. This is why Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge, music, arts, science and technology is worshipped on this day.
Mother Divine Public School(Nursery Wing) commemorated this special day with great fervor on the 25th of January .Keeping the tradition of inculcating values in today's modern times, the school organized a special Assembly to venerate Goddess Saraswati and invoke her blessings.
