THE SMART AND SUAVE!!!
Scouting is a way of life that makes you understand what you are.
World Scout Scarf Day, celebrated on August 1 every year, honors scouts across the world by encouraging them to step out of the house with their scouts scarf on! A Scout's scarf brings the spirit of scouting into the limelight and also sheds light on the basic everyday life hacks that scouts are taught. It encourages scouts to wear their scarves in pride as a symbol of the Scout's promise and the spirit of Scouting.
To celebrate this day, Mother Divine Public School organized the programme 'Scout Scarf Ceremony'. The event was graced by the chief guests, Mr. Maniram Giri, Joint Commissioner Scout, Ms. Manjula Singh, Joint State Organization Commissioner guide from Delhi State Bharat Scout and Guide, Mr. Manan Budhraja, Managing Director, Ms. Asha Singh, Primary and Middle Head.
The programme started with the welcoming of the guests followed by scarf ceremony. Our Scouting leaders were honoured with scout scarfs, a symbol of scouting by Mr. Manan Budhraja, Managing Director of Mother Divine Public School. All the eminent invitees hoisted the Bharat scout and guide flag followed by the flag song sung by our Scouts and Guides. The event was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Cubs and Bulbuls, Scouts and Guides who performed their duties diligently. This activity helped them to instill a sense of responsibility towards the society. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks.
Remember, 'Once a Scout, always a Scout'.
