SMART CLASS ROOMS

Each classroom is well lit and has large windows. The Rooms are well ventilated and have an exhaust fans too. There is one large soft board in the class. The white board is also a, 'Smart Board' with a projector, speaker and keyboard attached. Each class teacher is given the key to the Smart Board box. All subject teachers use the Smart Boards. Some classrooms, specially in the junior and the middle school, have cupboards and shelves. The desks for the students are made of pure wood with coloured laminated tops. These desks are double seaters.

PHYSICS LAB

We have well equipped Physics Lab in the School, where students put theory into practice. All facilities are provided to our young innovators to meet the curriculum demands with care and guidance of our expert faculty and well trained Lab Assistants. Besides being equipped, the Labs are spacious, airy, organized and well-kept 24x7.

There are models, charts, apparatus, equipment, kits and other study material catering to the needs of all classes with working tables for Physics experiments and projects. Each laboratory accommodates about 20-30 pupils at one time. The Physics lab is equipped with a wide variety of apparatus and each work-station has an electrical point.

CHEMISTRY LAB

Every student is an enthusiastic scientist in the making, and they spend part of their schooltime in laboratory. They try to explore, probe and experiment to find the truth behind the facts of life, to solve problems, to fend off madness and chaos that result out of ignorance and preconceived notions.

The avant-garde Chemistry Laboratory provides a platform for students to nurture the budding scientist within them. Concealed gas line and the safety devices such as Firefighting equipment, First- Aid Kit etc. are provided in the lab. Acids and other reactive chemicals are stored in separate locked cupboards as a further precautionary measure. The students are provided with separate workstations with individual burners and plug points. The apparatus includes the common place strikers, mortar and pestle, clay triangles, watch glasses, crucibles, crucible tongs, chemical spoon, stirring rods, filter funnels and a variety of stoppers.

BIOLOGY LAB

We have science laboratories where the educational paradigm is redefined from one that focuses on replication of information to a process that respects the ability to think. We explore, experiment and enhance our progressive lateral thinking unleashing it in a most productive way. Here excellence is a journey, not the goal, here we learn to keep moving...an incredible pinnacle of distinction and achievement a sojourn of 25 years.

Keeping the latest syllabus in mind, the models, specimens, charts, chemicals etc. have been well planned. The Biology Lab is self-sufficient with the specimens, apparatus and chemicals which are available to the students for hands-on experience.

3-D LAB

The 3-D setup enables teachers to import, view, and manipulate three-dimensional models, graphics and videos without the need for additional hardware. Students can also use the tool to view detailed images and label them, from different angles. The sticky labels remain attached to the 3D images as they're manipulated. Adding 3D brings a whole new dimension to teaching with SMART Classrooms, making images come alive so the students can get the whole visual experience without having to leave the classroom and enhance their knowledge in all the subjects.

COMPUTER LABS

The School has two Computer Labs well equipped with latest hardware and software configurations. All the computers are connected to a dedicated server through LAN and broadband connection. All the latest softwares related to the subject are available.

LIBRARY

Mother Divine has a well equipped library with a collection of more than 40,000 books and 650 CD's. Apart from books, library also subscribes a large number of online and print journals, wide variety of magazines, newspapers and other reading materials. The library supports the teaching, research and extension programmes of the school. All Student, Faculty and Staff members are entitled to make use of the library facilities on taking library membership. OPAC can also be accessed through any terminal on the school Campus Network. The collection in the Library can also be searched through Web OPAC. The students who like to study on their own or in group find that studying in the library is very convenient. The librarian work closely with teaching staff to ensure that the relevant books, journals & electronic resources are accessible.

PLAYGROUND

'Sports is an amalgamation of mind, body & soul.' Outdoor playgrounds promote the social, emotional, and physical development of children and assist them in the development of perceptual, cognitive & motor skills. Through a cluster of sports activities the school imparts 5s of sports training: Speed, Stamina, Strength, Skill and Spirit. Sports are no less than a celebration for the Divinians.

While the focus is on preparing students for Academics, inputs are also given so as to encourage physical, mental and moral growth and create in them a zest for learning. The school has a multi-purpose court wherein the students are able to skate and play sports like Tennis, Basketball etc. Some more projects are on the cards regarding various other sports facilities which will definitely enable the students to reach the pinnacle of success and glory.

INFIRMARY

School firmly believes in the proverb "Health is Wealth". The school has a well managed Medical room with a full-time qualified trained nurse. First aid is provided during the school hours as and when necessary. The school conducts regular check-ups of the students during the academic year. Cooperation of parents is sought to ensure the health and hygiene of the children.

All parents are requested to impart health education to their children so that they:-

Maintain personal hygiene like: trimming of nails, regular haircuts, etc.
Sleep 8 hours a day.
Exercise daily.
Have a balanced diet.
Avoid consumption of junk food and eatables from roadside vendors.
Follow 'Covid Appropriate Behaviour'.

COUNSELLOR ROOM

To cope up with the stress of modern living and to ensure that our students grow up to be confident and successful individuals. The school offers guidance and counselling services. Counselling is provided in a room allocated specially for this purpose.
