"Rama is your soul, Sita is your heart Ravana is your mind that steals your heart from your soul. Lakshmana is your conscious always with you and acts on your behalf. Hanuman is your intuition and courage that helps your heart to re-animate your soul"
Celebrating festivals is an integral part of learning at Mother Divine Public School. Being a diverse country, through such celebrations, students not only learn the significance behind the festival, but they also learn to embrace other traditions and cultures. Keeping up with this tradition, the festival of Dussehra was celebrated with a lot of religious zeal and enthusiasm by little munchkins of the Junior Programme. The program began with a ritual prayer followed by a song presentation by all the teachers and shlok enchanting by the young singers. Little divas of our school enthralled the entire audience with the dance Nav Durga performance on “Aigiri Nandani”. The highlight of the show was the narration of Ramayana through a musical dance drama conveying the message of ‘Dussehra-Victory of Good over Evil’ which left the audience spellbound. Navratri and Dussehra can not be complete without the epic folk dance Garba, our little ones rock the beat with their incredible dance moves and made everyone dance. To mark Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and to reinforce the message that good always triumphs over evil, the students have made the promise to themselves to shun the evil habits and not to repeat them again. The program culminated after the aarti ceremony by all the teachers, thus truly invoking the spirit of Dussehra and its festivity.
