"LITTLE GIRLS WITH DREAMS, BECOME STRONG WOMEN WITH VISION"
Girls are far more resilient and invincible than society thinks. They are the future mothers, leaders, and contributors to the society. A girl child brings joy, love, and happiness in the family. Empowering girls is empowering the world towards development, progress and prosperity. The International Day of the Girl (IDG) observed annually on 11 October – is a global platform to advocate for the full spectrum of girls’ rights. Recognizing the urgent need for gender equality and girls’ empowerment, the English Club organised an activity:
“Mimic Portyal” - Female Prodigy for the students of Grades 3 to 5 on Wednesday, 11th October 2023 based on the theme – ‘ Our time is now- our rights, our future’.
The students enacted a famous female prodigy who has achieved success in her life and has been an inspiration for the society. The prominent personalities choosen by the students included Sania Mirza, Saina Nehwal, Mother Teresa, Mary Kom, Kalpana Chawla, Indira Gandhi, Lata Mangeshker, Rani Lakshmi Bai etc. The tiny tots dressed up in impressive attires and used eye-catching props to support the act.
