"Pink colour symbolizes love, nurture and compassion"
Little munchkins in pink emanated warmth, comfort and happiness, combining the physical energy and stimulation of red with the cheerfulness of yellow.
The students of the Junior Programme of Mother Divine Public School celebrated Pink Day on Tuesday, 28th November, 2023 with the intent of acquainting the little ones with the vitality of this secondary colour and objects related to it. The children witnessed a series of creative activities to help them understand the positive impact of pink.
A dynamic and stimulating learning environment was created to assist the children to explore their imagination and creativity through scrupulously organized drawing and craft activities.
The Little ones of Grade Nursery created Rabbit-Headgear in Pink and tiny tots of Grade KG crafted Flamingo finger puppet under the supervision of their teachers. The students of Grade I excitedly participated in Ice-cream craft whereas the students of Grade II were engaged in making flamingo using paper cut outs. Some students shared their views about the objects they brought. The lively and cheerful students marked a great ending of the activity.
The Pink Colour Day activity was an utmost success in achieving its educational objectives. It not only introduced students to the colour pink, however, also engaged them in creative and interactive activities. By explaining the significance of pink and showcasing pink objects, the event enriched a holistic learning experience. The active participation of students and the smiles on their faces throughout the event were evidence to its success.
The children enjoyed a lot and it was indeed a pleasure to witness some of the little ones dressed up in pink objects, bubbling with energy and fascination. In a nutshell, the purpose of this activity was fulfilled with each and every child emitting enthusiasm, Vigor and zest.
