" Cleanliness is next to Godliness"
A clean India is the collective responsibility of every citizen. On the occasion of "Gandhi Jayanti" , the Ministry of Jal Shakti and the Ministry of Education, Government of India observed the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign with active involvement of students and community to spread the message of cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene in the society. To pay homage to the Father of the nation, the students of Mother Divine Public School undertook the Cleanliness Drive- "Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta Ek Sath'' near the school premises. The campaign was not just a standalone effort but a precursor to the grand celebration of ‘Swachh Bharat Diwas’ or ‘Swachhta Diwas’ observed on October 2 each year. The event was executed with the active participation of students , teachers and community members. They were taken to the residential areas near the school and encouraged to clear the area. The streets were cleaned and the waste was disposed in the segregated manner. It was a moment of unity, where all the students and teachers came together to work towards a cleaner India. This collective effort showcased the power of community participation in driving change. Through this campaign, students created awareness of Cleanliness among the citizens.
