Faces of unity took center stage as Mother Divine Public School hosted the mesmerizing Unity Mask Parade: "Different Faces, One Spirit" on August 22nd, 2025 for the students of Grades III-V wherein they transformed into living, breathing canvases of art and culture, each mask a vibrant reflection of their heritage. Through intricate mask-making, young learners delved into the world of Indian folk art, including Warli and Kathakali, and explored global inspirations like African tribal and Native American ceremonial designs. With eco-friendly materials and artistic flair, each child crafted a unique mask that embodied their chosen cultural heritage.
This innovative initiative unleashed the students' artistic potential and cultivated empathy, understanding, and respect for the world's diverse cultural landscape. By embracing their differences, the children discovered that unity is not about uniformity but about celebrating the kaleidoscope of cultures that bind us together.
The Unity Mask Parade was a spectacular display of creativity, cultural sensitivity, and unity, reminding all that beneath our diverse faces lies a shared spirit - a spirit of togetherness, love and acceptance.
